Hiring Manager Strategies 

 

 

The role and impact of the Hiring Manager is often overlooked and undervalued when it comes to Onboarding – why is that?  Well typically organizations put most of their focus on the experience of the New Hire, relegating the Hiring Manager experience to a secondary priority.  However, our research and experience shows us that organizations will never realize the full return on their talent acquisition and onboarding investments if they do not take steps to evaluate, design, and deliver best-in-class employee experiences for each of the key stakeholders involved in the Onboarding process, including the Hiring Manager.

Manager, Leadership & Employee Training

Colette Williamson has been working for Southwest Airlines as a Training and Development Leader since 2010.  She is an accomplished leader with over 25 years of experience as an effective Leader, Trainer, Facilitator, and Instructional Designer.  She began her career in Canada in education as a teacher.  She taught for several years in Canada and then moved to Texas where she decided to combine her passion for training with her love of travel.  She serves as the Manager of Leadership and Employee Training for Southwest Airlines.
