In this session the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia onboarding team members will share their experience of how they were able to take their traditional instructor led day 1 orientation to the next level, transforming the day into a “gaming” experience. During the experience new hires receive all of the important and required information they need while completing fun, interactive activities that can be accessed both on a virtual platform or live in person facilitation.
Law Blank, over the past 30 years, has created a diverse and expansive body of work. The genesis of his career produced expressive, inwardly focused painting, primarily acrylic and oil on canvas. Studying under the tutelage of Janet Weight Reed, Law explored themes such as; desert landscapes, social depravity, addiction, and, what would become the most popular work of these formative years, octopuses.

Donna Krammer is the Manager, Onboarding and Education Administration at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She oversees onboarding at the enterprise level, welcoming over 4500 new hires annually since 2014. Donna holds a Bachelor’s Degree in communication Sciences and Disorders and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration as well as a Graduate Certificate in Non Profit Management. Donna has spent over 20 years working in the learning and development environment designing, developing and delivering leadership development, professional development, and most recently onboarding programs in the various business sectors, including government, healthcare, non-profit and legal organizations.

Multimedia illustrator and designer specializing in biomedical communication with an undergraduate degree in fine arts and an advanced degree in scientific illustration; fluent in traditional and digital media, including the entire Adobe Creative Suite, 3D modeling and animation software such as Blender, Maya and Cinema 4D; experience writing and editing scripts along with storyboarding for both animation and video production.
